Got a nice message from a young film maker who liked my Lost Army of M.O.C. video. Here's a wee video he made documenting his amazing toy army base / farm that hes built. Hes put a lot of thought into this and I think it pays off. Respect to Farmhand Studios.

Happy Birthday To....Me?

So today marks 10 years since my first blog post (check it out here ). It's been quite a journey and writing about art and culture in Aberdeen has been an interesting trip. I've come to see the blog as an archive of events and art happening but also an diary of my own life. Although I have tried to steer away from sharing personal posts or trying to make the blog about me, there are posts which are incredibly personal and bring me back to some special times. Re reading my run down of the night I went to see M83 in Glasgow with friends actually brought a tear to my eye, one of my favourite trips with Moose who sadly passed away in 2009. Aberdeen, A Tale of Two Cities in LockDown!

I'm sure many are feeling the exhausting and utter nauseating effects of the Covid 19 lock down as we wait to see what the next hurdle will be. With a Government almost taking pride in how badly they've mismanaged the situation, initial fears of the pandemic being dragged out appear to be coming to fruition. Other countries are quick to return to a good level of normality while the UK media look for any excuse to avoid covering the UK death toll which is almost the worst in the World, despite us only accounting for a small part of the world population. But as is often the way, just like social media where you can scroll through videos of people being murdred by police followed by cute cat videos, I'm going to jump from berating the Tory party and focus on some creative adventures from the lock down.
