Some snaps from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs at The Forum from a few weeks back. Seemed to be a really good crowd in, everyone seemed to be having fun and the tunes kept everyone in a good mood! I'm a little sad that people stole my toy dinosaurs though, they were really special to me but I saw someone getting them signed so hope their momento is worth the pain they've cause me! Deen Scene - Good Stuff #20!

So it's another art & culture round up and fear not, there'll be no mention of creative funding opportunities here! Instead I like to focus on things that have given me a boost, whether its individual artists, projects or musical mixtapes. I've always been interested on what's happening here in Aberdeen but also what's happening further afield and with friends scattered across the globe I'm inundated with photos and videos of what they're up to and its nice to share some of their content and to build up better connections. Of course you can't overlook the Granite City and all that it has to offer, especially for the avid tiktoker. Yes, I've taken the plunge and have been using the app for a few weeks now and I have to say its fun. ElphOne at Go-Reborn!

An Edinburgh local, Elph is a graffiti artist of international stature. Having first seen his work on a gift card in Schuch I instantly liked his style and his characters. So I was pretty pleased to hear he would be doing some live painting at Go-Reborn when we were down. Almost as soon as we walked in I noticed the amazing canvas being worke don at the back and sure enough it was the man himself. After a quick chat we left him to it and started to set up for the night time but made sure to keep an eye on his progress throughout the night. After finally calling it a night at 2am we headed off for a night on the town which ended in Fingers Bar, a true gem in Edinburgh's crown. The music was awfull, the punters were ming but Elph kept our spirits up with his stories and his banter! 'Double Darning' by Kirsty Anderson & Lyndsey Gray at The Foyer!

Double Darning is the newest exhibition on show at the Foyer Gallery & Restaurant on Crown street.  The show is made up from sewn treasures created by recent graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone Lyndsey Gray and formers Grays graduate Kirsty Anderson . "If you go down in the woods today your sure of a great surprise", quite an appropriate tag for this show. Cloth owls, fox heads made from old curtains, puffy clouds, cushion mountains and a nice collection of pillows emblazoned with slogans, my favourite being "Goodbye Jelly Belly", I wish. The work is of a very high standard and sits well in the Foyer, its a nice departure from the more fine art work you would expect to find. Its like falling into an old wardrobe and finding out that old fur jacket is really a bear but he's a nice bear. The giant bird cage in the open foyer area is quite menacing, quit a feat for something made from cloth and stiches! I think the whole craft movement is a great out let...
